Twisted hazel
« on: August 02, 2013, 16:42:30 »
I was in the garden this morning, when I noticed that my twisted hazel had a clump of 3 'fruits'.  I got all excited, even when the husband pointed out to me that they would be 'hazel nuts'  Doh!!  :sign5:
I've just had another look and found 6 or 7 all around the shrub   :icon_cheers:
I'd add a picture but I can't figure out how!!
N. Herts, just acquired first allotment in Aug 2014.

Watch the squirrels don't get them before you
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
