sweet peas
« on: April 15, 2013, 18:04:00 »
It's been to cold to sow my own so while  I was in B&Q buying some fence panels, I looked over their offerings. They did not look bad so I picked up 6 trays for £24. There was so many in each module I divided them into 4 inch pots at two to a pot. I now have over 250 pots of them. I could not get these wholesale for that price and they are healthy plants. They will be needed to decorate my daughters wedding marquee grown in loads of bamboo teepees. Should make a good show.

I buy the packs of Sainsbury's living lettuce, break them up and end up with dozens of lettuce plants for a quid.

Never been much cop at sweet peas so I may have to pop down to the local BandQ...

And how much are fence panels - d**n they aint cheap are they?!
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

£7 each for the 2x1.5 slightly damaged, but a quick tack here and there and they are good to go.

Themeing and decorating wedding marquees is one of our sidelines.
