So far, I have all my seeds, have potted up onions and garlic and have sown onion seeds. Just need to get some banana shallots now. Because of the wet weather have been unable to dig my plot, but I am in no rush, it will get done when the conditions are right.

I picked my seed potatoes up from the allotment shop at the weekend; Picasso, Kestral & King Edwards. All chitting in the greenhouse. This weekend I'll be starting off my chillies and pepper - oh how I love this time of year!

Too wet at present went to dig up some parsnips and had to use a spade as the fork was just sinking when I bent it back. Not all lost though as I planted over winter onions, shallots, early peas and broad beans. I was up there last weekend to pick some neeps for Burns Night and noticed that the mice had been at the beans so I will have to plant some in pots to fill in the gaps.

Still looking forward to next season with a major push on celeriac.
