naming a wifi router
« on: January 25, 2013, 18:03:52 »
If I have to search for a connection, I notice some of the neighbours routers being on the list. We are all encripted so not a problem, but I have just renamed my router as MI5 Surveilance (special ops). I bet the neighbours are worried. :toothy10:

Some people have become quite "vocal" with the name of their router. Examples such as "stop your dog pi55ing on my lawn" and "the woman at 47 has huge hooters" can be spotted, especially in the US.
Some ISP's (SKY for example) lock down their routers so you can't change their name to anythiung else, SKY127ad67 is so memorable....
