Wind up mobile phone charger
« on: November 14, 2012, 16:40:59 »
Can anyone recommend one please?

I bought a wind up torch with a phone charger on board but it does not actually charge my phone.

There are quite a few on ebay but very few reviews, and when there are not many I always wonder if the supplier has posted the review.

A couple of quid for a spare battery that fits in my wallet easy. No need for gimicky toys.

Not all phones have batteries that can be taken out.  Some of the best selling phones dont have user replaceable batteries - fecking annoying when you are camping or away from the mains.  Some batteries aren't very cheap either..

I would not go for a wind up one - I'd go for an external recharable battery that you can use to charge your phone

Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!
