Allotment photos

Just thought I would share some photos with you all.
Not had a too bad year. Potatoes not a great crop at all, lots of veg attatcked by slugs and pigeons, pumpkins very slow getting going, aubergines never fruited, half the peas died before we got them pulled, some woody/stringy beetroot, some of the onions rotted.
Bumper crops of runner beans, tomatoes, spring onions, patty pan squash and courgettes.
Parsnips are looking good, as are the butternut squash and leeks.
So overall can't really complain :)

Look at that black sky..I bet it dropped some wet stuff.
Your plot looks very neat and tidy and I love that wooden plank walkway..very good idea.
Thank you for showing your photos...it is always nice to snoop others plots.. ;D

Fab photos thanks for sharing :)
I do love the look of your wooden plank walkway but wonder if it is serving as a very good slug hotel????
Do you lift the planks often to kill the slugs?
