It's about a 5 minute walk to my site - I too am very lucky  ;D  Unfortunately my plot is the furthest from the gates, so it takes 10 minutes to get my plot from home!

Mine is about a mile and a half away. usually drive here, and as it's on the way back from work often drop straight in there on the way home.

Goodlife that sounds great, I would love an allotment that close.  I have about a 10 min. walk, might take longer now as all this rain has made my knees bad. Sometimes I cycle through the park, so near enough.

About 10 / 15 minutes walk, along a canal if I want.

It is also located next to one pub and opposite another.

So the walk sometimes takes a bit longer.

You can't please all of the people all of the time, but you can't upset them all at once either.
