West Yorkshire Potato Day
« on: February 26, 2005, 18:15:37 »
The West Yorkshire Organic Group Potato day was a massive success, sold out in about 2 hours, some people were disappointed the tubers sold so fast, but the group were happy  to have no left-over tubers! The moral of this story is get in early! Maybe some use could be made of the web to reserve your requirements in advance? Any I.T. wizards out there to give them some tips?
Maybe see you there next year. Hello again to Gavin who I met up with at this event.
All the best

Grumble, grumble, grumble - not a single potato left.  Not one.  All that way, and not even a trodden-in crisp.  :(

Could have been worse - I've got myself sorted for potatoes I'm happy to try again from somewhere else.

Good to meet you, though - it's great to put a face and voice to the name :) - and for everybody else, I did like Brian's garden labels (on his website); neat, simple and easy.

All best - Gavin

Potato Days which sell out may be good for the organisers, but they aren't the ones who should be satisfied!!
