ooooooo I just love budgies!  The first ever pet we had was a green one called charlie and he used to fly free around the house - far from hygenic I know, but I lived to tell the tale!  Fab pic BB!!   ;D

Trust you to want a male.It's a Budgie Di cant fly all that way its little wings 'l drop off.No females  aren't vicious i hand reared one last year when the parents rejected it and used to carry in my pocket.Needless to say its one of my favourites

Must say i have a soft spot for all our feathered friends.But i did see a Magpie raid a wrens nest in my back hedge last year.But thats nature.I have some Magpies come for breakfast every morning i love the
way they walk and as you say their plumage is beautiful.
