I saved all my rasberry canes from last Autum and they were just the thing for the peas,I hate wast. ;D

Same here.
I was actualy picking out the larger cuttings to stick in the ground to see if they will take, and sombody just said to me 'Are those your pea sticks?'
Now some of them are pea sticks and some are new plants.
If there's nothing wrong with me, maybe there's something wrong with the universe!

Chrispy,I did the same ,I had a thornless raspberry ,and took the strongest canes and stuck them in the ground they are growing nicely away,I also did the same with tayberry's and they are growing away lovely ,Can't believe the price they are charging for tayberry's in the garden centres .
