Cheaper Glyphosate
« on: April 18, 2012, 22:12:12 »
In Wilkinsons, Roundup "Kills trees" strength sells for £14 for 250mls. Next to it has appeared an un-distinguished looking little bottle of Wilko's own "Super Concentrated Weedkiller", same 360g/ltr strength, £9.98 for 250mls
Why plant rows of 24 lettuces??

It makes 14lt though, is that expensive? the wilko one is only 250ml and it dont say how many Lt you can make up, the Tesco one is 280ml, I think you have your sums wrong

250ml @ £9.98 = £3.99 per Litre

home base sell  it cost more than wilko but cheaper than round up

1 ltr = 1000 mil  so 250 mlr = 1/4 of a ltr

Thats the thing about all these ad's they tell you its a concentrate, but dont say how much it makes up though? makes it very confusing as to how much your getting = price

All these 'domestic' glysophate weekillers are same strength..they can't sell any stronger unless is it for agricultural/trade use.
When I compaire prices..its usually just about how much you get for money as it is..no dilutions.
That dilution rate mentioned..40ml per litre of water is more and less standard for them all.
