New water butt - eek
« on: March 16, 2012, 19:30:08 »
I am fairly new to allotments, well just going into the 3rd year!  Just got the other half of the allotment and can now have a shed which is up today....Phew!
Water butt at the back, any hints on a cheap way to collect the water?  I am a bit stuck for ideas.

I am v bad at DIY and have filled a water butt by attaching a piece of tarpaulin to the bottom of the roof slope and attaching it to the butt with strong clips. Rain slides down it into the butt. Bungy hooky things are involved.
