Hi,I know it's not lovely Paul hollywood :drunken_smilie: the programme Ithink it was on Saturday morning after Sat kitchen ,he were's glasses and has a wee garden, I think he is gay . but he has this rather posh voice, I don't think he's always been cooking , he's to posh it's like his hobby  :toothy10:

Oh that would be Nigel Slater!
I have many of his books he's one of my favourite chefs,
He trained as a chef many many years ago. actually I think he trained when he was in his twenties. He is 50 something now.

I saw that episode and had to wonder at the fuss.   It's just Irish soda bread which you can make with ordinary white flour or wholemeal flour or spelt or rye but don't try it with sunflowers seeds for added interest.  The soda turns them a bright green.

Using buttermilk or a mix of yougiurt and milk gives a lighter result than just plain milk.
