Double Garlic?
« on: January 27, 2012, 13:51:08 »
My second year of growing garlic and I have just noticed 2 shoots emerging from one clove:

Is this normal, and do I leave them both to grow or thin out the smaller one? Any advice would be appreciated!

When you planted the double one..the clove was already divided into two underneath the 'skin' so it is not easy to notice it. Nothing to worry about it..you just end up two bulbs with one..although they won't grow as large as being just one on its own.
Otherwise they are looking good.. ;)
