Another source of free pots?
« on: December 29, 2011, 15:45:17 »
I went to give blood today. As they now make you drink 500ml of water before donating, there are loads of large plastic cups being binned. It occurred to me they would be ideal for long-rooted plants like sweet peas or parsnips. I didn't ask as i don't need any more pots, but thought I'd mention it here anyway. Might even get a few more blood donors with this as an incentive  ;D

They're great for runner beans, too!
(Shame they won't take blood from old wrinklies or I'd be off to stock up!)
