chilli cuttings
« on: December 16, 2011, 13:48:20 »
I've just realised that one of the plants that I've never tried to propagate from cuttings is chillies.
As I  have quite few plants over wintering in house..and fingers crossed..they are looking good go far....I was thinking of trying some cuttings later on. Just so that I can 'tick the box..'been there done that'.
Have any of you done chilli cuttings? Any success stories?

Yes, I did it with one of the Bangladeshi ones a couple of years ago.  Don't know the name of the variety, sorry. It grew well and produced fruit.

Yes, no problem at all.  I may have started it off in water but can't remember exactly.
