How much does everyone else pay for farmyard manure. We get a full trailer load delivered next to plot for £35. Is this good or bad, I suppose it is only worth what  people will pay.

Free, i just have to fetch it myself from 5 miles away.

Ive invented a roll on roll off builders bag arrangement, i shovel it into a builders bag on the trailer, and the other end i can roll the whole thing off down a par of planks then tip it over onto the pile.
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

I pay by the bag - 60ppb. They're old compost bags mostly, some are filled more than others.

For years I have been paying £1 per strong cattle feed bag from a local farmer. Always well-rotted and well-filled bags. I return the bags for further use.

Our allotment site gets a trailer full of well rotted delivered for £30. Or as our village is quite rural, there are plenty of farms/stables around that need to get rid of it, if you collect...its free, but fresh so needs to sit for 18 months or so.

£40 per 8 tonnes. Had 2 loads delivered. The first load looked like solid cow much rather then lots if straw as from the bottom of the shed from last year. It stinks something rotten!!

Free - our site backs onto a farm and there is a corner of our site where they dump the manure.  Perfect.
