Spent the whole day at the allotment on Saturday, it was like the middle of a great summer. As I sat having a tea break and a couple of butties it struck me that there could not be many better ways to spend a sunny day - it was allotment Nirvana ;D All the trials of white rot, carrot fly and the other denizens that we fight against paled into insignificance at that moment and as I slurped the juice from a second flush strawberry, I knew true allotment Zen. Just thought I would share it with you all 8)
