feedbooks
« on: October 08, 2011, 17:02:49 »
Not a computer question really, but does anybody use feedbooks for their kindle. I have downloaded a couple to my computer in a supposedly kindle format but am a little bit cautious tranfering them to my kindle in case it freezes it or worse.

Any info will be gratefully received.

I don't think it will freeze, it will probably just ignore it. The suffix to the file name tells the software if it can read it, if it can't, it just doesn't load. Incidently, I have found that software will not read .avi files (video) and some will not read .mov files. The files are the same but the suffix is different.  I found that by changing (renaming) the suffix it would then work.
