been an increase in sheds being broken into at are site in south birmingham,and other sites in this area

my shed was broke into which was no easy job,just for a interior light to be taken??? they ignored the tools

just a heads up for plot holders in these areas

Not Unusual for a couple of bored kids to do that sort of thing.

There is not much to nick on most allotment sites.(For normal criminals that is) We once had ten sheds broken into. Quite a bit of damage to the locked sheds but the only true theft was a packet of  biscuits a diabetic member had for emergencies.

One member was a policeman and he suggested that  it is better if there were no locks on shed doors, he was probably right. After all, you only lock away valuables. No locks, no valuables.
