Too many in my opinion....nothing personal...nice people but it feels too Big Brother for my liking :(

A lot of time is spent dealing with spam Betula, I remember a bad patch a few months ago when SamLouise spent most of a Saturday morning clearing it away.

Hopefully we can help spread the load, that's all :)

The amount of effort that it takes to keep the forum running smoothly is largely invisible. Having a few more pairs of hands spreads the load. On two occasions, I've stayed up through the night clearing spam attacks and have routinely been checking the forum twenty hours a day. I don't want to carry on at that level. I'm confident the new mods will do a fine job and I'm very glad they've finally arrived.

I think that more mods have been needed. Presume now there are enough to have a rota.

maybe have not appreciated how much does go on behind the scenes so thanks for that :)

I am concerned though that with so many mods we may end up with the equivalent of a WI meeting............time will tell.....we will see :)

Fear not Betula- it's the Spammers I'm after -I just cannot wait to get my first one. Missed out yesterday- Grawc got there first (good on you Grawc and the person who reported it). ;) ;) ;)

By the way I always feel that your toe clicking cat is keeping a wary eye on me ;)-but I do love him/her!
