Rhurbarb crowns from seed?
« on: August 19, 2011, 11:36:47 »
Having had a bit of a failure with stockbridge arrow I thought I might order some more from a different source.

Came across Forthergills 3 for 9.95.  They say they are

1 year old crowns are freshly lifted from the seed bed and hand graded for quality.

I thought that named varieties fo rhubarb came form dividing crowns.  Can anyone enlightenme more?
