It has started

Not a beautiful foto, I admit but the work fun has started.

For the x-mas gift from work I chose a gift certificate for a garden center and bought a poli-tunnel. We took all the windows out of the greenhouse so they don't get broken again by vandals who come across the ice in the canals that surround the lottie complex. This means that I couldn't sow anything under glass while it's too cold and frost is still possible. Now I can put the early seed stuff in the poly tunnel and it covers the part where I sowed the carrots as well (see the two marked of squares behind the seed boxes).

From where the picture is taken, the aqua dulce broad beans are behind, a couple can be seen on the right bottom. On the right you can see the poli sheets I was trying to unfold, just my toe in welly is vissible. On the left, the parsely is still going strong. Ah, isn't that freshly dug soil a feast for the eyes?

Edit: I decided to add this picture as well. You can see approximately one quarter of the veggie plot. The total veggie plot is about one third of the allotment, the rest is flowers. Total of the allotment is 260 square meters.

I know what you mean Tenuse. It's been a long time since I had soil under my finger nails again, lovely. Yesterday was the first time I did anything at all in the lotty. I felt all rosy in the evening after all that time outside.

Ina it all looks great, and how awful to be vandelised.  How can you bear to start again after some thugs break up all your very hard work?  >:( Cant wait until my soil looks like that   waiting for the man with a digger to come this weekend maybe? :)

Take time to stop and smell the flowers.
