i bought some pink flowering strawberries last year this year they've all flowered white can anyone tell me why as i bought them off a car boot seller have i been had

Sounds like it, although some varieties do have pink flowers. Which variety was it supposed to be?

yes and fruited well last year and doing so thisyear  they were a unnamed variety i cant under stand why they've turned white
