can any one help ,,my raspberry are dieing ,, we put them in last year we did't cut the back last year

It is very difficult to kill raspberry's once they have established, however, as they have been planted recently the very cold winter could have seen them off or weakened them and the very dry spring could have been too much for them and this could have finished them off. They also like a slightly acid soil. Don't give up. Plant some more and give them a blanket of mulch next year and in spring water with an ericacious feed. They are such a joy to grow.
