Watch the BBC One Show tonight!
« on: May 25, 2011, 10:23:52 »
Hi all,

Further to my other thread about Ashton Moss Allotments in Tameside, the BBC One Show came to the site last Saturday to cover the story, you can catch up with events by watching tonight's show.

If you would like to lend your support join Ashton Allotment Action on Facebook

Thanks :)

Sorry I've given up with the One Show and similar because of the incessant use of trendy camera angles and cliched out of focus shots. I complained to the Beeb and got fobbed off with some cobblers about it adding realism and tension to drama or give 'energy' to static environments in some lifestyle programmes.

I gave up on Gardeners world because of it and tried to watch the Chelsea Flower show coverage and they do it on that. In too close, camera all over the place, can't see what's happening.

We watched the One show this evening. We hope that you soon get an allotment site.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
