Tadpoles - toad

Does anyone know what toad tadpoles eat as they get older? I know that initially they graze algae from the surface of underwater plant leaves. However, as they get older do they become omnivorous or carnivorous like frog tadpoles. I have some in a small 'pond' to keep them safe from the dragon fly larvae in the main pond so do I need to feed them with meat and if so what would you recommend?
With the frog tadpoles I know I can suspend a small piece of meat in their small 'pond' as they grow.

Not sure, I would imagine the same as frogs.
My tadpoles are in 3 tubs and I am feeding them on fish fry food, when they were smaller I put some Koi pellets in the coffee mill and made a powder. Amazing what size they can eat! Took pics today so will try and upload if I remember how!

Tad poles start eating all kind of little swimming insects and algae as they grow up..even smaller tadpoles..
I've seen them 'attacking' newt eggs as well.
They are proper underwater monsters in pond wold.

I'd never heard of feeding tadpoles! They seem to do fine on their own amidst frogs, toads, insects etc. and we've never noticed a shortage. We also don't feed the goldfish. Maybe we have more insects here than the UK??

I have foo d available so I was just curious to see if I could "up" the survival rate by feeding?

They're cannibalistic, so you might.

About half have legs now! So 1 or 2 weeks and they should be frogs according to online info!
