Gordon..I assume as we had cold spell..you've kept your windows shut..?
It is sign of too much humidity in the air and/or not enough ventilation..and possibly bit too much watering too.
Just pick the affected bits off..get some air in GH..and let things dry out... ;) Sorted.. ;)

White mould or what looks like white powder on your cucumber, on the leaves or on the stem. It could be powdery mildew.
If so the leaves will start to turn yellow wither and drop off

That's true..but that would be sign of 'not enough water'..so..its either..not watered enough or 'been splashing about bit too much and done it behind the closed doors'.. ;D

Goodlife Not trying to be rude but i am not up for a discusion of what caused it i have mearly stated what i think it is. I could of said it was GreyMould/Powdery Mildew but without seeing it we dont know, although i dont think it can be anything else.
Untill Gorden post what he thinks it is i am not going to suggest a solution in case i am wrong

I think itcould be too much water and not enough ventilation.I will let them dry out a bit and make sure the G/H door is left open
                                        Thanks.
