Rhurbarb
« on: April 22, 2011, 12:02:29 »
Just saw rhurbarb in Morrisons, £2.75 (or something like that) and 2 lots for £4.  I do love looking at the prices as it all goes to prove how much I save from the lovely allotment.  Also Rosemary, mint, parsley and other herbs are quite expensive to buy. I expect they will be selling stinging nettles soon, and have seen forget me nots in B & Q, maybe I could sell my horsetail.  ;D ;D ;D  Have noticed on the plot that a lot of rhubarb is flowering but mine is not, I pick it, cook it, give it away and water it.
