Land found
« on: April 04, 2011, 19:00:54 »
Yippee our association has found a piece of land to rent from a local landowner.
However we would like to know if there are any associations out there that also rent land and at what cost. It is grade one arable land , the minimum term is 15 years. You can pm me aswell if you wish.

Top job nolandyet.  My council rents one of its sites and pays £620.  There are approximately 300 poles let and I'd estimate the site to be around 2.8 acres in total.  It's not top quality arable land, though is better than pasture.  It's well over the top for arable land, though around towns you're always competing with people who want to graze horses so I really don't know what a fair market rent would be.
