Ryton Potato Day
« on: January 29, 2011, 13:51:22 »
Just got back... picked up some relatively obscure ones to try... Peach Bloom, Mayatt's Ashleaf... and some old favourites like Witchhill. Also went to the seed swap and picked up some new French Beans... OH went with me so I couldn't dip into the Tomato selection...  ::)

Sounds a great day out, I wish I had a potato day closer  :'(
I grew Ash Leaf Kidney last year, nice potato, which I think is either the same or very similar to Myatt's Ashleaf.
I've got Witchill to try this year  :)

If you are avoiding tomatoes, you best not go and look at the seed circle thread  :-X

I just got back - I'm shattered.

Was doing the kids activities in the room next to the seed swap.

Took 14 packets in, and only came home with 6. So a total reduction of 8. Result! I have far too many seeds as it is.
