Boot up error message
« on: January 12, 2011, 15:14:03 »
When I reboot, before Windows loads, I get the following message "Drive 5 not found: parallel ATA, PATA-1 (PRI IDE Slave)  Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the set up facility".

If I then strike the F1 key Windows loads apparently as normal.  The question is: should I be worried?  Grateful for any advice.

Could be a problem with your CD/DVD drive, check see if that still works first.

You could be right!  Can't even open it.  Hadn't noticed before so thanks!
