We went yesterday and loitered for a while but nowt in the way of gardening came out of the stores. The shelves are still full of marked down christmas stuff
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I finished work early today (owing to the fact that I wasn't needed  :-\), so stopped off at Wilko's to check out the return of the gardening section, as mentioned in this forum.  Imagine my disappointment to discover the full Christmas department still there.  Next to that, all the sale chocolates (walked past quickly - got to fit in a dress at the end of this month  :-X), next one: reduced household items.  Rubbish.  One aisle left... gardening things!  Woohoo!  Not much - that section is normally 4x the size it is at the moment.  Still, a few (6) packets of seeds made the bus ride home with me  ;D

Thanks for the tip

The local Wyevale have all their seeds at half price but they have only T&M at the mo.  They also have 10kg buckets of chicken poo for 6.49 which is also pretty good.
