I notice some of you change your avatars on the same frequency as you change your knickers. I've been thinking as it is nearly new year and time for my yearly change of undecrackers, I might change mine. He's looking a bit tired now, so sensible suggestions please on a new one that might portray my sensitive feelings, helpful nature and good looks.

I thought this thread was going to be about the film Avatar that has been given its premiere on TV this Christmas.

I was really taken with the film though the violence at the end was horrific.  It kept me spellbound and in awe of what can be achieved these days.  Did anyone else see it?

Here is an Avatar from the film for you ACE.

Good old Shane in his glory, I once played bodhran in the band for a few evenings when they were touring the south coast 25 years ago.

If you saw them at Pompey was it the wedgewood rooms or the heineken concerts on the common, either of those you would have seen me.

You must have a better memory than me but I rekon it must have been the wedgewood rooms - just down the road from me old mans house.  I would have said the old poly - saw loads of bands there back in the day - but many beers then and since makes recollection a little dodgy.
Small world init though! Bet we both looked a little different then..
