A VERY good year.
« on: December 26, 2004, 12:36:25 »
I think this is the best year I have known for wine making.  My Elderberry wine should be spot on by February, just when we need a warming through.  Gave a couple of big bottles to a dear friend and his Son.  Even though it was Christmas Eve and it was a Christmas present, they opened it (just for a sample you understand) and spent the afternoon snoozing on the settee!  My Rosehip (port and Burgundy) is crackin' .  Trying beetroot (oldies are best) for the first time, keeping it out of the light as recommended.  Hope you have a nasty mould free 2005.  Cheers, Tony.
