Topic: Cayenne pepper

I have lots of green cayenne peppers, can I pick and use them green or do they have to be red?  Never grown them before and it would be a shame if I can't use them before the plant dies.

Its okay to pick them green. You could also pot up a plant or two and bring them indoors.
