 picked 7 lb elderberry's from the garden, which has given us 4 lb jelly, still have a lot more berry's t pick... qahtan

Lucky you  :D ... all our berries etc are a week or two behind here in "Sunny Jersey" (the original Jersey, with the pretty cows). I've usually got several containers of blackberries frozen for the winter by now, the result of a couple of hours intensive picking in the "favourite spot", I've struggled this week to find a couple of pounds for some jam ...

 we don't grow Rowan berry's and I have never tasted it so I don't suppose I wil. but I have seen some in the past along Niagara Parkway, maybe I should trot along there one dark night,,, '-)))) qahtan

They ned a lot of sugar as they are bitter but are great with some meats..let me know of you need a jelly recipe.

I don't think I will bother then as I don't like things even like apple sauce with  pork  or mint sauce or red currant jelly with lamb. thanks for the offer.. qahtan
