Topic: Hello and any help please with identification

 Hello there.  :)
I've been reading for a while now and wanted to ask if anyone could possibly help me identify these plants from my new garden.
i've been watching with interest to see who won the bet on the last "mystery" as it does look slightly like my unknown shrub .
All I can tel yu is that it seems to be evergreen and may be late flowering as it has been moved recently....twice. :-\ I won't know where to put it until I know what it is.

At first glance I thought the first one was rosemary

Nooo Amazin.It's leaves are leathery and much like a hebe.Which I thought it may be at first.Then I thought Euphorbia ,and then after seeing a Choiysa ternata Aztec pearl I thought I had it but ...nope......ect ect. :-\

Looks like summat I have that has pink flowers. Whats it called? ........... I dunno!  ???  ::)   ;D

No idea yet.I do know it hasn't had any sign of flowers since we moved in last august but then it was in the shadow of a large beech tree and was just one stem.Since we had to have the beech removed (surveyors orders) it's shot up and out.

D'oh!!! I've just realised the first two pictures are of the same plant!

Well, I DID say at first glance... and being blind drunk..

Anyway, for my next guess, I'd say some type of Pittosporum. I have a P Tobira which has similar but more spoon-shaped leaves, and a P Tenuifolia which, although having completely different-shaped leaves, has a very similar flower spike.

Popped down the nursery yesterday Amazin and nope it isn't Pittospurum.Even the guy down there couldn't tell me. ???

Picture 1 looks like a hebe possibly Great Orme if its pink grows to 5x5ft eventually.

Picture 2. looks like a variety of Veronica.(Speedwell) You'll soon find out if it gets spikes of small blue/purple flowers. Depending on the variety they can grow  from 1 to 4 feet.

Thank you very much ,it's been driving me crazy..Yes it does look to be getting pink buds so your probably right it's a hebe. .That was my first thought but then it seemed too large for a hebe. :)
Hmmm I think I may dig up my other "mystery" especially if it maybe speedwell. :o
