this hare briefly visited my garden on Thurs.  I have never seen one close up before.  Picture quality not so good.

Wow Carol, it must have been amazing to see him in your garden, I have never seen one that close, I always think they are shy. :)

The only hare we have everseen in the flesh was when we were in north wales and the poor blighter had Myxi

They're pretty shy, and they're not an animal of enclosed spaces, so that's a rare sight in a garden!

That's an excellent piccy Carol.

It reminded me that I had to take a picture of the Goldfinches that are on our bird feeder at the moment.
