i have 2 allotments next to one another the first one has white rot. is there a cure or a way to stop it spreading to the second plot? could i build a raised bed and change the surface soil each year and if so to what depth? my leeks are never affected why?

poor thing - 9 years abstinence is it ?

We have it all over and probably won't be able to grow aliums again in my lifetime. What a sad thought, when we were always self-sufficient. Don't know if you would get away with it by changing soil - you'd have to be pretty clinical. Haven't checked HDRA. - Tim
