Topic: Lawnmower recommendations, please.

I need to get a new lawnmower this weekend. We only have two small areas of "grass" (more weeds than anything), both about 4mx4m max. I bought a cheap hover mower a couple of years ago but it has died. What would anyone recommend?

Well mine is OH. so he's not going to be a lot of use to you. ;D ;D

A hover mower will suffice.  One with the grass collector built into the unit.   If it has a separate collection bin you will need more area for storage when not in use.  If you are cutting the grass weekly then you do not need to collect the clippings as they will be small enough for the worms to draw them back into the ground and this is the smallest mower option.

Thanks, I was looking at those yesterday, and my neighbour has one which I borrowed and seemed good, but I was worried about all the bad reviews. Think I may just go for the cheapest non-collecting flymo- they seem to be the only brand around apart from Argos cheapo which is what my old one is.
