choosing a plot
« on: September 10, 2003, 15:21:36 »
My friend and I are hoping to take over an allotment.

We have enquired at the council offices and been given a list of their various sites.  We are supposed to list our first three choices.  Apart from obvious things like how long it will take us to get there, what other points should we consider in making our choices?  We thought we would have a "reccy" at the more convenient sites, but we don't really know what to look out for.

Any advice much appreciated.

Hi Rosemary - can I refer you to the 'Questions' thread here in The Basics - there are some responses on this question there.  ;)
