Much more everyday than that, well at least it is in our house. It is the right way up and not distorted, the effect is with the way it was lit.

Just had another look, and I think that I agree with Speedy here.  I think that it is a knife block with 3 knives in it. :-\  but still not 100% sure.

The hat with the feather in it goes to Speedy Mango, it is indeed a knife block from above, though with 5 knife handles and a pair of scissors. Taken in the dark with a strong light shone on it from above.
