Yeah it controlled b Kirklees council.I have emailed them asking if livestock is allowed but i may ring them tommorow aswell.How did everyone else find out about local land/allotments?are they private owned or council?Yeah hopefully some local members may see this post snd be able to point me in the right direction.

Hi Greenhouse girl here But sorry not much help as I don't have an allotment, just a big back garden.I know the Westfield Lane, and Whitechapel sites don't allow livestock but there is a private site (I think) at Old Lane Birkenshaw. It may be worth asking there. I will ask some of my gardening buddies and see if anyone knows of any others in the area. I am in Scholes so not far from you by the look of it. Sorry I'm not much help.Jane
