When should I?
« on: May 11, 2010, 09:27:23 »
ABW I am going to Portugal later this week. I get back on 20th & on the 24th I am going away until 28th looking after daughter no 2 after surgery. Do I plant sweetcorn, squash, pumpkins & courgettes before I go to Portugal or between periods away, will it be to late when I get back on 28th? OH is great on structures but seed minding is another matter ;).

I would plant them on the 23rd. Then they will just be germinating when you come back on the 28th and also hopefully the weather will be warming up. Have a lovely time in Portugal - hope there are no ash problems........

I hope you get out and back ok, with the cloud going over that area it is not going to be easy to get in and out of the Iberian area for a while. Check the flight plans daily and see how things are.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Won't be planting any of mine out until the end of the month.  Suppose it depends where you are in the country really.  Lance
Getting there - just rather slowly!!
