Has anyone out there ever grown zantedeschia from seed, if so how long before they flower. Tried every garden centre in my area to find a plant.

They might be selling them as Arum lilies.

you will find them in the autumn bulb catalogues - try Peter Nyssen or De Jager. They come as rooty tubers and you can get quite a few colours, although only the white aethiopica is safely hardy. Much, much cheaper to buy at this time.
