My hubby planted a load of turnip seeds which grew smashing (the big turnips) when he transplanted them into pots they where all pretty well looking good. He kept them in the porch and watered them, but they all started to die within a week of each other. He had to go to the garden allotment for more compost and while there asked the gent who was an old hand at everything. He asked if he was watering them from the top as it kills the stems, always water from the bottom.
Is this the case all of you magic men that's been growing veg for yonks? :-*
