Topic: Hops ?

Looking to start growing some hops on the allotment this year to brew so ale/bitter. Any particular types recomended and also any suppliers that supply the plants? Many thanks.

I don't know enough about them to give growing advice. I used to live near the hop fields when young and remember these huge scruffy straggly things where they grew.

I did read an article about growing them on an arch above an area where one sits to relax, apparently they have emit a calming odour. Try this link
