Long time no post, but this is for charity so...
Once again, our friends at Foxwist Green Farm Whitegate are opening their daffodil farm fields to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care. It's a stunning thing to see and Len is a hoot.
Please pass on the info to anyone else you know in the area. Thanks ( There's a lovely pic that goes with this but I can't post it - my avatar was taken a few years ago in one of their fields so that should give an idea of what to expect)

DAFFODIL WALKS
IN AID OF MACMILLAN CANCER CARE
DATES – APRIL : Fri 2nd, Sat 3rd, Sun 4th Mon 5th, Sat 10th, Sun 11th

TIMES – 10.30 am & 2.00 pm
WHERE – Foxwist Green farm, Foxwist Green, Whitegate, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2BJ.
EVENT (included in price) Walk through and marvel at acres of unspoilt daffodils. Humorous & informative talk by Len Tomlinson ( as seen on BBC Gardeners World!) featuring 100’s of specialised and historical varieties of daffodils, plus insight into historical Cheshire farming. (approx 2 hrs) Refreshments -Tea, Coffee, Cakes & Biscuits. Bunch of daffodils for all.
COMFORT FOR THE EVENT The sessions will involve a gentle walk around natural countryside (approx 1/2 mile) therefore it is advisable to wear Wellingtons / sensible walking shoes. Unfortunately, the British weather is unpredictable so please come prepared for all seasons! Whilst we will endeavor to ensure the complete safety of all involved, we must highlight the fact that this is purely intended as an enjoyable event to raise money for a good cause, so we need to inform you that you will be attending completely at your own risk.
COST £5.00 payable on the day, (all proceeds to MACMILLAN).
