Topic: Horse Manure and Seed Potatoes

At the weekend I am getting a builder's bag full of horse manure.  Can anyone tell me how  - if I can -I use this with my seed potatoes which I was planning on planting either this weekend or next.

I'd put a layer in the bottom of the trenches with a thin layer of soilon top to set the tubers in...
A lazy way is to put a layer over the spuds once buried to mark the row... afterall it ends up on the surface naturally...  ;D

Make sure its well rotted first, then lay it in the bottom of your trench and plant the spuds into it.     ;D ;D ;D

What about root burn?

Every Autumn I cover my plots with 'oss manure..or cow...heck!  manure is manure!!

But beware...cos of whot's you is growing....root vedge don't likes it....
